- Surprise attacks are automatic critical hits

Special: Characters who also possess the Improved Combat Martial Arts, Advanced Combat Martial Arts or Defensive Martial Arts feats can only have the benefits of one at a time. Characters can choose which feat to use at the start of each round.
Combat Martial Arts bonuses only apply to unarmed strikes and archaic weapon attacks. Bonus attack actions cannot be used for ranged attacks without the Archaic Weapon Group (Bows) or Archaic Weapon Group (Slings and Thrown Weapons) feat, as appropriate.
